Safe-T-Pull is based out of the Red River Valley in Eastern North Dakota. It is an innovative hitch and towing system that makes assisting and pulling trucks, tractors, and other equipment through tough conditions easy and safe.
The Safe-T-Pull Original was developed by a farmer after a deadly farming accident in northeastern North Dakota in the 90’s. It didn’t take long for the product to catch on, and all area farmers agree it is an indispensable tool during our short and critical harvest window in October. Red River Valley mud is famously rich, and subsequently notorious, and has provided an excellent testing ground through the last two decades.
We started with infamous mud, but our product has traveled across the country and has successfully battled various tough conditions, including clay and sand.
Next was the Safe-T-Pull Pro. This model came from curiosity and suggestions, trying to find ways to improve on the Original. After several years of development, we released a product that fit the bill perfectly. The strength and durability of the Original, with added features to make tough jobs a bit easier.
The Safe-T-Pull Compact came about after witnessing a unique need in silage and corn harvesting. With the help of friends working right in the thick of it, we’ve developed a Safe-T-Pull that can utilize both pulling and pushing forces. By keeping trucks at the perfect distance, you’re able to protect your harvester, trucks and windshields, and more importantly personnel.
For industrial, heavy-duty applications, we have the Safe-T-Pull HD. The HD hooks up to large equipment such as payloaders or bulldozers, and assists in extraction of stuck equipment in various terrains.
Finally we have our often imitated but never duplicated Safe-T-Pull Truck Hitches. We have years of experience with nearly every model of truck on the road and in the field. This experience lends to an expertise in force and torque, ensuring they hold up to your most difficult jobs. Remember, if it doesn’t say Safe-T-Pull, it’s not!
We started as a small farm welding shop in Hoople ND. The small farm shop grew into Kringstad Ironworks and eventually moved to its currently facility in Park River ND. As Kringstad Ironworks grew and began to specialize in manufacturing large agriculture equipment, the decision was made to branch Safe-T-Pull into its own company. Both companies remain family owned and operated. Safe-T-Pull is now next door in a 15,700 square foot facility, complete with our own 8’x15’ powder coat oven for quick product turnaround.
